Powder Pig Love Banff!

7 days in March @ the beautiful Banff Hidden Ridge Resort! Had great snow dumps! Lots of powder at Sunshine Village & fabulous views as you board awesome & diverse terrain.

After a long day on the slopes I could enjoy a turn in the hot tub with the most fabulous view! Amazing!

We were always greeted by friendly & helpful staff that ensured our well appointed room was well maintained, warm and ready to enjoy a wine in-front of the REAL fire!!

Douglas Fir Resort, Banff

We stayed at the Douglas Fir Resort for 7 nights in Feb 2013. Firstly, the resort is located a fair distance from the main part of Banff. Its about a 5min bus ride down to the town and the buses run every 40mins. If you dont want to hire a car, i'd recommend staying at a place that is a bit closer to the centre of the town as you'll need to rely on the bus to get to the restaurants/bars and the shuttles to the ski resorts (which aren't time coordinated with the town bus).

Other than that the accomodation itself is quite good - rooms are large, they have a full kitchen, fire place and a TV in each room.

Great place to stay for short time in Banff. 

Close to Shops & Restaurants.  Friendly Staff.

Great Snow at Lake Louise & Sunshine.  Great place to get ski legs before CMH Heli-skiing.
