Engelberg
Engelberg is a beautiful alpine town and the largest ski area in Central Switzerland. Engelberg has flown under the radar for many years however it has been a long-time favourite freeride destination with a vertical drop of nearly 2,000m. Originally a monastery, an authentic rustic cobblestone Swiss town. Everything is within walking distance, making it an ideal choice for families. It has an excellent variety of restaurants and après. There is a lot to do here for the non-skier as well! From the Titlis Cliff Walk 3,041m above sea level, night sledding on a 3.5km toboggan, igloo on ice to snow mobiling.

Engelberg is one of the top powder & freeride destinations in the world. Most of Engelberg's runs are above 1800 metres and best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders, with some terrain lower down for beginners. However, Engelberg has deliberately left much of its terrain un-pisted, making the resort especially popular with powder skiers and snowboarders. Much of the off-piste is easily accessible and perfect for confident intermediates, while for advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders there are cliffs, couloirs and genuinely extreme terrain.Activities
