Accommodation Park City
At Park City, Canyons Village, and even further out in the suburbs, you’ll find accommodation ranging from luxury to budget with everything in between to suit your family or group. If you’re bringing your family, and you want to stay in Park City, the base area is probably most convenient. Though a little pricier, here you’ll find a ski-in-ski-out condo or hotel that’s close to childcare and the ski school, rental shops, the slopes and all the activities. Travelling as a couple or with friends? Hotels and condos in the main street and downtown will have you right among the bars, restaurants and shops yet still within an easy ride via chairlift to the snow. Despite its compact size, Canyons Village has a good variety of accommodation ranging from deluxe to luxurious and including the grand Waldorf Astoria. Some hotels and condos are ski-in-ski-out and others are within a walk or quick shuttle ride of the chair lifts. Being a small village, you’ll also have easy access from your resort accommodation to ski school, childcare, rental facilities and shops. Many of the Canyons Village’s condos are fully self-contained, making this base particularly popular among families and groups. If you’re skiing on a tighter budget, check the accommodation on the bus route in Park City, where there are more economical options as well as restaurants, bars, shops, and resort facilities.Skiing & Boarding
Regardless of your ability on skies or a snowboard, at Park City you’ll find masses of varied terrain to explore… and then there’s Canyons, now accessible via the Interconnect Gondola.Black runs from the mountain’s highest point are where it’s at for expert skiers, then there are the heart-pumping chutes, glades and slopes in areas like Jupiter Bowl. Ready to take a hike? Enjoy 600 acres of incredible back country with powder bowls and glades at Pinecone Ridge – it’s an experience you’ll never forget. If you’re less advanced, you’ll love the incredible intermediate trails and groomed black runs that make up over 50% of this massive resort. And if you’re a beginner, take advantage of the first timer’s chair lift and dedicated slow zones before progressing to the adjoining gentle slopes.

While you’re staying at Park City you’ll find loads of activities to keep the kids entertained – like the Alpine Coaster and Gorgoza Park where they can experience snow tubing. You’ll also find snow tubing at Utah Olympic Park along with zip-lining and museum tours.Feeling more adventurous? Try your luck with winter fishing, take a sleigh ride, a mountain railroad adventure or hot-air ballooning. You can even go heli-skiing from this world class resort.
For more leisurely activities, enjoy a meal at one of many restaurants in the main street, spend the afternoon or evening in a warm and cosy bar, or soak up the atmosphere as you wander the streets and check out the shops.
Getting There & Around
To get to Park City, take one of many daily flights direct to Salt Lake City airport, then jump onboard one of the local shuttle services or choose a private transfer to journey the final 35 minutes to the mountain by road.Once you’re in Park City you won’t need a car. Take advantage of the great free public bus that services the mountain base and downtown areas, and extends to Canyons and Deer Valley. Uber is also a great option for getting around Park City.
