Panorama Accommodation

Panorama has a massive choice of accommodation to suit your group and your budget. Choose from excellent affordable accommodation in basic lodge-style rooms, to luxurious ski-in-ski-out condos. When you stay in the Lower Village, you’ll enjoy easy access to the mountain and you’ll be able to get to the Upper Village via the free open-air gondola. However, if you’re looking to indulge in the après scene, you may want to book into the Upper Village. Here you’ll find luxurious ski-in-ski-out self-contained condos and town-houses and you’ll be within a few steps of all the resort facilities, including hot pools, a splash pool and water slide, as well as restaurants and bars.

Skiing & Boarding

Panorama is a well-planned resort that boasts over 1,200 hectares of easily navigable, beautiful wide groomed runs, all serviced by an efficient lift system. Although Panorama gets less annual snowfall than other resorts in British Columbia, it’s cold here so the snow is light, dry and it tends to hang in for longer. There’s also snowmaking all the way to the summit. Over 75% of the Panorama’s runs are suitable for beginners or intermediates, making this a great mountain for the entire family with plenty of opportunities to ski together. If you’re looking for more challenges, head to the double black diamond ‘Extreme Dream Zone’, take a quick hike to the Tayton Bowl, or enjoy back-country like conditions within the resort itself. Panorama also offers some exceptional vertical Heli-skiing in amazing powder conditions.

Activities

Panorama has loads of off-mountain activities for the whole family, ensuring that from sunrise ‘til well after sunset, there’s endless fun to be had. Keep your kids excited on the fantastic ice-skating rink, waterslides and splash pools then while they’re busy, take time out to soothe aching muscles in the local hot pools, which are surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. If you’re feeling more adventurous, try Heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snow mobiling or tandem paragliding – it’s all on tap.

Getting There & Around

To travel to Panorama, you’ll need to fly into Calgary International Airport and then enjoy a spectacular 3.5-hour drive. If you’re travelling to Panorama from Banff, it will take you less than two hours via resort shuttle along the Powder Highway. Once you’re in this beautifully compact resort you won’t need a car or the shuttle service as its pedestrian friendly. There’s also a free open-air gondola to get you between the accommodation and facilities of Lower and Upper Villages.
