Portillo is located 102 miles from Santiago, or approximately 2 hours by car. The road to Portillo is scenic and safe. During the last 60 years, Portillo has gained a reputation for being one of the most unique ski and snowboard areas of the world. Enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to experts, can enjoy Portillo. Portillo’s rooms do not have television; however television may be watched at certain hours in the cinema or the disco. This is intended to encourage guests to enjoy the many services, entertainment and activities available, and to get to know the other guests.
