Set your basecamp at CMH Bugaboos, the place where heli-skiing was born more than 55 years ago. From a spacious backcountry fly-in lodge that mixes alpine history with modern comforts, you'll take in the same iconic granite spires and mind-blowing vistas that have astounded guests since 1965. The area's vast and incredibly scenic terrain is suited to a wide variety of skiers and riders, including those looking for an introduction to heli-skiing.
Whether your kids can out-ski you or want to come in early, they'll have a day they'll never forget. Give them a taste of powder and at the end of the day, if they want to head back to the lodge for fun and games, you can stay out on the slopes.
CMH Heli-Skiing trips include: accommodation, all meals, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, a guest radio and all applicable taxes including GST.
Trips also include: fully escorted, return transportation from Calgary Airport on day of arrival & departure only, A.C.M.G and U.I.A.G.M certified guides, use of specially designed "Fat Heli-Skis" and poles, and avalanche transceivers.
Heli Ski trips include the following guaranteed vertical metres/feet.
7-Day Trips: 30,500m (100,000 ft)
5-Day Trips: 21,780m (71,000 ft)
4-Day Trips: 17,500m (57,000 ft)
3-Day Trips: 11,500m (38,000 ft)
Please note for children: included vertical is 50% of the adults' vertical.
