Omotenashi Inn is located a short walk down the hill from Akakura, in Myoko Kogen. Western-style comforts while sacrificing none of the Traditional Japanese feel. All of the bedrooms have Western style split king beds,with additional futons as needed. The property has two bathrooms on the lower floor with two toilets adjacent and a third toilet located upstairs. Open living area, self-contained kitchen with big communal tables. Car hire is recommended if staying at Omotenashi (AWD with snow tyres is a must).

Yamagoya is a recently renovated four bedroom self contained house that is located approxiamately 30m from the nearest ski run in Akakura Onsen. It has three bathrooms, drying room, kitchenette and large dining/lounge area. Car hire is recommended if staying at Yamagoya (AWD with snow tyres is a must).
