Does the snow & restuarants make up for everything else ?

Stayed in a Studio room at Powder Tracks early March, and the room was very clean & comfortable. On-Site Ski locker is downstairs, via an awkward secure door at the entry, with a tiny landing making daily coming & going a challenge but not a deal breaker. The ski locker room itself had a separate large drying room which was absolutely fabulous.
Powder Tracks was a very short walk to the main ring road, and short uphill or downhill walk to Shuttle stops to take you to the Gondola. Alternative was a walk through buildings and a manageable (red) ski track to the Family Pair Lift.
Infrastructure in Japan is old, and planning on mountain was disappointing. Could be due to the massive snowbase, but come off the main Hirafu Quad chair, and almost immediately have to duck walk up a slope to get to the next lift or start a run. Most chairs have no foot rest, some have no safety rail, but you can hold onto the dropbar if concerned. Different, but not unsafe as such for an Adult.
Restaurants and food were fabulous, too many to choose from. Hokkaido Tracks were very friendly and helpful and should be complimented for their extra efforts.
Karen & Leah at Travelplan were brilliant as always, and the whole trip was well organised, documented and seamless as expected.
