Portillo is located 102 miles from Santiago, or approximately 2 hours by car. The road to Portillo is scenic and safe. During the last 60 years, Portillo has gained a reputation for being one of the most unique ski and snowboard areas of the world. Enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to experts, can enjoy Portillo. Portillo’s rooms do not have television; however television may be watched at certain hours in the cinema or the disco. This is intended to encourage guests to enjoy the many services, entertainment and activities available, and to get to know the other guests. Located opposite the main entrance of the main hotel, Inca Lodge is ideal for groups of friends, backpackers and people who travel unaccompanied. Rooms are shared with guests of the same gender and each has bunk beds for 4 people. Bathrooms are shared, divided by gender. Guests can enjoy the hotel facilities and activities, including meals in the self-service cafeteria. Onsite Ski and Snowboard School, equipment rental, restaurant, bar, self service cafeteria, fitness centre, full court gym, outdoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, cinema, game room with rock climbing wall, children’s activities. Includes accommodation, meals, access to ski lifts during stay.
