Ski Fernie
Fernie Wilderness Adventures is based a 15-minute drive out of Fernie, and caters to all manner of winter sports including snowmobiling, cat skiing and boarding.
The terrain is considered as 'Extremely Good' not just 'Extreme' providing the ideal environment for the intermediate, advanced and even the first time Cat-skiers/boarders. Depending on conditions guests can expect to ski/board 8 - 9 runs a day which equates to approximately 11,000 - 13,000 vertical feet.
