Kicking Horse Resort overlooks the Town of Golden British Columbia, which is situated at the scenic confluence of the Columbia and Kicking Horse rivers in the Rocky Mountain Trench. The resort is a scenic 14 km (9 miles) drive off The Trans-Canada Highway.

Driving Directions
Calgary - Take Trans Canada Highway 1 westbound from Calgary. Stay on Trans Canada Highway 1 for approx. 2.5 hours, until you reach the town of Golden.
Vancouver - Take Trans Canada Highway East from Vancouver. At Hope, Take the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops. The Coquihalla Highway becomes the Trans Canada Highway 1. Follow the Trans Canada East until you reach the town of Golden.
Golden to Kicking Horse
For guests staying in the town of Golden there is a regular shuttle service picking up from several locations throughout the morning with return departures in the afternoon. Cost for return journey is approx $6.
