The promoter of the 'Travelplan International Ski Travel Expo' is Travelplan Australia Pty Ltd A.B.N 96 001 024 344. Promotion starts 22 March, 2010 and ends on 30 May, 2010. Prize draw will take place at various times on the day of the expo. Entry is free, subject to the conditions below.
1. Participants must either RSVP or provide their name and contact details upon entering to be included in the prize draw. Maximum of TWO enteries are allowed per person, double chance can be achieved by RSVPing to the expo at least 24hrs prior to the event.
2. Entries will be drawn randomly and announced over the public address at the expos.
3. Attendance at time of draw is not required, winners will also be contacted by e-mail.
4. Entry is not open to employees of the promoter or their family members.
5. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking and embargo periods. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other destinations. There will be no credit given if the full value of prize is not utilised.
6. Prizes are not transferable, non exchangeable, non refundable nor redeemable for cash. There will be no credit given if the full value of the prize is not utilised.
7. The winner and their travelling companion are responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to meals (unless specified), incidentals, tips, service charges, spending money, travel insurance, airport fees, visas and all transfers other than those specified. Travel insurance is not included in the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner. Travel insurance is highly recommended and can be purchased from Travelplan.
8. No spending money is included in prizes.
9. All out of pocket expenses, including other travel related expenses are the responsibility of the prize winner.
10. Promoter shall not be responsible for any consequential loss, damage, injury or death sustained during the course of taking the prize.
11. Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. Participants information will be entered into a database and the promoters may use the entrant’s names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
13. If a prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winners nominated parent or guardian.
14. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years before entering the competition.
15. Any unclaimed or unwanted prize will be automaticaly placed into a second chance draw.
16. Prizes must be claimed by 01 July 2010. If the prize is not utilised by Friday April 30, 2011 it will be forfeited.
17. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all of the conditions of use of the prize and the prizes requirements.
18. To the full extent permitted by the law, the promoters exclude liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, loss of opportunity, revenue or profit) arising directly or indiectly out of or in conjunction with this promotion.
19. It is the responsibility of the winner to enquire about local issues and conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. Intenational advise can be obtained from various sources, including local government, local consular offices and the website of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs anf Trade. Compliance with any heath or any other government requirement is the responsibility of the prize winner.
20. Competition is open to Australian residents only.
21. The winner and their companion must travel at the same time and flights and accommodation must be taken at the date and time as specified by the Promoter. If a winner and travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on a nominated date, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or element thereof.
22. Flights, once issued ticketed dates cannot be extended, re-routed or re-issued. Frequent flyer mileage accumulation for flights will not be awarded.
23. Travel dates must be requested by winner no later than 01 July, 2010.
