Find your way around the Mountain
Being a local at Panorama provides you with
plenty of opportunities to explore the mountain and get to know Panorama's vast terrain on an intimate level. Working and living on the mountain definitely has its advantages too! Knowing that not everyone has these advantages (the best groomers, the least tracked runs,) Panorama's Mountain Friends is a fantastic program with just that in mind. Perhaps you're an intermediate skier finding your way around the mountain, or you're an expert skier looking to try a new challenge - this program provides all this and more.
Sharing their passion...
The Mountain Friend Tours run twice daily and are free to all Panorama guests. The Mountain Friend Guides, made up of mostly local residents who have been skiing at Panorama for many years, are a group with a huge passion for the mountain. They come back year after year in this volunteer position because of their love for skiing at Panorama and their excitement in sharing it with others.
Get the inside Scoop!
Travelplan recommend these tours to anyone visiting Panorama. The two hour tours are the perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon - on your first day out at Panorama or anytime during your visit. They'll customize the tour to you and your group's ability level, so no need to worry about keeping up or getting into terrain you're uncomfortable with. You'll finish the tour feeling more accustomed to your surroundings and more confident in choosing your next run. Gaining the 'inside scoop' is truly what makes these tours a unique experience at Panorama.
