Hi Leanne
Just a quick email to say thanks so much for everything, we had an absolutely fantastic holiday, condo’s were great, warm and spacious and great to walk to lift just 300m up the road, loved the spa next door. American’s are so friendly and all staff very helpful. 2 people lost luggage but turned up at Condo the next day. Had great weather, which was good for the kids, although the big kids would have liked some fresh snow but still unreal and much better than OZ, so thanks again, loved dealing with you and will be in touch next time we plan a trip overseas.

We had a great trip. Many thanks.
You can confidently send people to Campitello with the Dolomites Ski tour people - I cant speak too highly of the experience.
Aspenand the Gant was great (and the direct flight to SF fromAspenwas excellent).
TheHandlery Union Squareis ideal inSan Francisco(as you said). I'll contact you when we can afford to do it all again.

Just to report that the travel & connections worked well except that Delta changed the departure time from Calgary to 1 hour later (& then was 40 minutes late on top of that) so that a flight via Denver to SLC might have been quicker!
Kicking Horse was terrific but Glacier Lodge management is hopeless. Sundial at The Canyons is much better equipped and infinitely better run than Glacier Lodge. Would stay again at the Sundial - indeed I prefer it to the Grand Summit. Not sure that we will go back to The Canyons again after Kicking Horse.
Appreciated the upgrades to business, especially for the return journey.
Thanks
Frank
Hi Anne,
This is just a little email of thanks for organizing such a great ski tour. All the other Australians we met on the tour were also full of praise for the level of accommodation and ease of travel.
Danny and I had a totally marvelous time and just wanted to tell you how great it was. All the connections were easy to make and even some storms and delays were easy to cope with. So thanks for such a great holiday.
We skied some of the best untracked powder I have ever seen esp inCanada.
I also wondered if you could post me a receipt for the accommodation in Crystal LodgeCanada. Apparently I can claim the tax back easily ( for some strange reason) if I have the receipt.
Kind Regards
Joanne
Hi Lisa
Firstly, Pauline & I had just a great ski trip, it was fabulous. So, we would like to thank you for your efforts in planning our itinerary and your professional approach to managing our trip. All transfers, went smoothly and on time and the accommodation was very comfortable and exceeded our expectation at a number of venues.
Thank you, we are grateful and very appreciative.
I received your cheque for the refund of extra ski lift passes, thank you for your prompt service. We will be in touch later in the year to arrange our next trip overseas,
thanks again. (If I was you, I would show this email to your boss and keep a copy for your CV)
Kind regards
Jonathan
Hi Nigel,
Well thanks again for putting together a great holiday. Before I forget you might check up that the Tourist Assoc in conjunction with you guys delivers the welcome packs on arrival and not on departure?? Just a minor hiccup. I don’t know if you have been to Furano, but here is our take on the place.
As Far as Furano goes
1. Accommodation
New Prince Furano is the best.
We saw other accommodation and it was chalk and cheese. The on slope position is fantastic and the rooms a good size with ample space for après-ski drinkies for friends. Breakfast HUGE and the in house restaurants also good. Huge indoor pool and true ski in ski out.
2. Slopes
Whilst Furano has been criticised in some reviews for its rigid off piste policy, the fact is that the resort is in a national park and the off piste areas are protected. Hence the controls. I think this is great as is keeps the jobbos at bay and ensures the experience of Furano is not a Perisher trip with Japanese signs!! Furano has introduced a policy of keeping some runs ungroomed after a snow fall and this presents ample opportunity to ski the fresh. This occurred twice in the 6 days and with very few people skiing it lasted until lunch time. Further the availability of using your ski pass at Kamui about an hour away which has huge off piste powder areas (no accommodation) is an added bonus. The tree skiing there was nearlyCMHvalue, all though it is important to get an overnight snow fall before hand.
The Furano side has good access to the adjoining Kitanomine area and a return chair. Whilst this does more than double the available terrain we found the Furano side more intimate and exclusive. The good mix of terrain really suits a family with differing skiing abilities. My wife has been skiing for 35 years without progressing past lower intermediate stage. Even with the fresh snow the mix of terrain without crowds enabled her to gain the confidence to start parallel turns on true blue runs – a massive progression. There is also adjoining blacks with bumps as steeps to keep the interest up and still having links back to the more sedate for family link ups. The whole secret to the northernJapanexperience is the constant top up of snow. It snows constantly even in sunshine!!. This prevents a hard pack piste and when the full dump does come the policy of grooming and leaving gives something for everyone. Average runs are about 3KM long with 2-2.5 thousand vertical.
3. Restaurants and the town
The free night shuttle opens up a whole range of great dining at very reasonable prices just 10 mins away. The Tourist Association is extremely pro-active with the resorts and provides a free ski host program (English speaking) (I think the only one inJapan) and also free admission to cultural events. This included a traditional tea ceremony and a music and dance festival. So the chance to mix with a very friendly community is ideal.
4 Summary
Great for those wanting a more intimate resort without the Aussie mob mentality, with great snow, and experiencing the Japanese culture.
ALLINALLVERY GOOD RATING 8 OUT OF 10
Ps To get a 10 would require off piste or tree skiing and self catering apartment availability. But bear in mind the cost saving over US andEuropeand travel time

Peter
Hi Chris,
Villa Hakuba - Great property with staff trying very hard to meet clients expectations - family orientated - food was good Western/Japanese - only drawback common to most Japanese properties was smoking policy b- Highly recommended .

Pam
Hi Ann,
Just a short note to let you know that all the arrangements you made for us worked out beautifully. Connections were very successful (weather helped a bit - we were lucky with our timing).
Silverglo inAspenwas terrific. Extremely comfortable little studio. It had everything we needed and the location was great. They had a shuttle to take guests to the main terminal atRubeyParkto connect with buses to the ski areas. Very convenient. The managers were very kind and helpful.
We have doneNew York,Las Vegasand now a few days in San Fransisco before flying home.
Thanks again for your work.
Regards,
Terry
Hi Chris
Just a quick note to say what a great trip we had. Skiing at Big White was great, had some great snow.SunPeaksas usual was fantastic, and it was so nice to meet your resort host Collin - he gave us so much information about the place which really helped - his snow shoe tour was fantastic.
We did the snow shoe walk with the fondue dinner - would highly recommend that over the torch light fondue dinner.
Anyway thank you once again for all your help.
Will be in contact with you shortly to start to organise our next trip (hopefully 2, one December and one in Feb).
Regards
Bronwyn
Jason,
New Mexico- the skiing was great, brilliant sunshine all but one day (when we got a little fresh snow). We passed the "rite of passage" by hiking up from the highest lift to the top of the mountain (takes locals 45 minutes, took us 1h 25 min !) on our second thursday when we were used to the lack of oxygen. All that for a thrilling steep 5 minute trip back down, a vertical of nearly 3000 feet - beats Mt Buller ! We were so impressed with ourselves we climbed up twice more on the last friday, though not all the way.
The accomodation inTaoswas excellent and the hotel staff were A1. A couple of good restaurants, excellent happy hour Margaritas, what more could we need.
We spent the middle WE off the mountain, inSanta Fe, a very interesting oldNew Mexicotown with Native American, Spanish and Anglo history and great museums and galleries.
Trip back was the usual grind, nearly 48 hours from the time we leftTaosto the time we crashed at theMedinainPerth- couldn't cope with a 5 hour drive after that. We finally got back toAlbanyTuesday afternoon after a leisurely beachside brunch at Cottesloe.
Coffee in theUSAis still not great, the first good one after leaving theNapaValleywas inAucklandat the ferry warf.
All the arrangements went very smoothly with one small exception.
The shuttle fromAlbuquerquetoTaosshould have been provided (at no extra cost) by the Hotel (Innat Snakedance) rather than a commercial operator (Twin Hearts Express).
In fact, we cancelled Twin Hearts for the return trip and travelled with the hotel shuttle, though we got no refund.
The reason: on the way from Alb. toTaoswe had a young Hispanic driver who insisted on making/taking lengthy cell phone calls whilst driving at speed at night. At one point he had a sandwich / roll in one hand, his cellphone in the other and was steering with his knees on a busy 3 lane freeway at 90 mph ! Not the most relaxing experience I can assure you. Hence the decision to change transport for the return !
The only other advice should you ever book anyone else toTaosis to book a couple of nights at a halfway altitude to aid acclimatisation. The recommendation is to spend the time inSanta Feor somewhere similar. Taos Ski village is at 9,000 + feet and the skiing goes to almost 13,000 feet, sometimes a bit too much change in one hit for sea level dwellers. We got by OK but there is a significant risk of altitude sickness.
Thank you for your services,
Geoff & Barbara.
