Your skills will advance to levels you've never thought possible. All Yes Instructoin includes a full schedule of off-snow technical seminars and an on-going assessment of your progress throughout the program. You will learn methods of detection, correction, improve your teaching & interpersonal skills, become a better communicator and increase your technical knowledge.
The Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA) Level I qualifies you to teach children in Canada and the Level 2 qualifies you to teach up to an intermediate (parallel) level in Canada. All CSIA certifications are an excellent qualification to present at any hiring clinic in any country. To take part in these programs, you should be at least a solid intermediate skier with a good level of fitness.
Instructor programs will take skiers through their Level 1 and onto their Level 2 CSIA certification. All Candidates with valid working visas will be provided an interview with the recruiting officer of the Whistler Ski and Snowboard School upon successful completion of the Level 1 and 2 examinations.
3 Week Ski Instructor Program
This program provides training towards the CSIA Level 1 Certification. You will go through two weeks of ski improvement to prepare you for the examination in the third and final week. This 3 week program is designed for skiers who hold a valid Canadian work visa. Upon successful completion of the program, skiers will be provided with an interview with the Whistler Ski School.
Note: This program is for skiers only. A work visa is required for employment however it is not required to simply participate in the instructor program. Employment is not guaranteed on this program.
3 Week Snowboard Instructor Program
This program provides training towards the CASI Level 1 Certification. You will go through two weeks of ride improvement to prepare you for the examination in the third and final week. All candidates with valid Canadian work visas will be provided with an interview with the Whistler Snowboard School upon successful completion of the level 1 examinations.

4 Week Coach Program - A Yes Exclusive
FUN-damentals is the key word used by the CSCF (Canadian Ski Coach Federation) for their entry level coach course. Yes Coach programs are the best way to get your CSCF Level 1 Qualification. Yes provide 3 weeks of ski improvement and training with highly recognized CSCF coaches to prepare you for the examination in the fourth and final week. This program is best suited to anyone who has already completed the CSIA course or for people with race experiance.
6 Week Ski & Snowboard Instructor Program
Skiing - This program will take skiers through their Level 1and onto their Level 2 CSIA certification.
Snowboarding - This program will take boarders through the CASI level 1 and onto either Freestyle Level 1 or Race Coach Level 1.
These courses also include equipment info seminars, customer service and communication workshops. All candidates with valid Canadian work visas will be provided with an interview with the recruiting officer of the Whistler Ski and Snowboard School upon successful completion of the course.

10 Week Ski & Snowboard Instructor Program
Following the success of the 9 Week Insructor Programs last season Yes are now introducing a 10 Week Instructor Program to enable them to fit all of the content the want to include.
The goal with this program is to expand the abilities of participants to be well rounded and employable individuals in any ski resort upon successful completion of the course.
Skiing - This program will take skiers through their CSIA Level 1 and onto their Level 2 CSIA plus level 1 CSCF certifications.
This course also includes Recreational Avalanche Course, Mountain Safty, Injury Prevention, Fist Aid, Boot Fitting Certification and Ski Tuning Clinic.
Snowboarding - This program will take boarders through their CASI Level 1 Instructor and onto their Level 1 Freestyle and Coach Certification.
This course also includes Recreational Avalanche Course, Mountain Safty, Injury Prevention, Fist Aid, Boot Fitting Certification and Tuning Workshops.
All candidates with valid Canadian work visas will be provided with an interview with the recruiting officer of the Whistler Ski and Snowboard School upon successful completion of the course.
