Spent 2 weeks at Sheraton Steamboat in Jan 2011.  Hotel is a bit old.  We had an apartment in Morningside which was refurbed around 2 years ago, was comfortable and large.  Plenty of room for the 4 of us.  Great views of the slopes.  Excellent hot tubs on the roof.  Fantastic location.  Breakfast was ok.  

The mountain is great - good variety and great snow.  Food on the mountain is terrible.   

Ski school was great for our 8 year old, not so good for our 6 year old.  He is a pretty good skier and they didn''t really push him.
