20th to the 25th January 2010. For 5 glorious day we were given the unique privilege of skiing Jackson Hole and grand Targhee.
Jackson Hole caters mostly for intermediate to advanced skiers and boarders, offering some phenomenal terrain. The Staff are friendly and helpful, and the ski school runs twice daily mountain explorer tours, showing off some of the hidden spots, for free. This service is greatly appreciated as the terrain can be quite treacherous.
Lucky for us during this time we experienced a foot of powder, allowing for the full value of Jackson to be appreciated. The snow was of excellent quality and the terrain will keep any skier busy.
The nightlife in Jackson is second to none, offering family friendly prices and excellent food and some great bars to enjoy a cold one.
We stayed at the Inn, it was a finely furnished and wonderful hotel, offering wonderful facilities to help after a hard day skiing.
Close to Jackson is Grand Targhee, This offers more intermediate terrain, but still excellent fun.
Jackson Hole is a must ski resort for any skier looking for a great time both on and off the mountain.
