Deer Valley was the first ski resort which i have visited outside of Australia. I am a new skier and to make things a little tricker - I am legally blind. I was amazed and inspired by the entire experience and I consider this trip to have been one of the best in my life.
The Deer Valley resort was absolutely beautiful, there was so much terrain (for all levels of skier) that myself and my guide were finding new places to explore every day - even after 15 days. The facilities & services were of an extremely high standard. All mountain staff were always friendly / willing to provide assistance and the food quality definately exceeded my expectations.
The Chateaux at Silverlake was a great place to stay as it was mid mountain which provided great access to chair lifts at Silverlake.
The Chateaux has great facilities and the rooms are well appointed and spacious.
We found the hotel management and staff to be of the highest standard. I do need a little more of a helping hand sometimes, and I can honestly say that every staff member made us feel welcome at all times and were only too willing to assist in any way they could.
