Chateau au Claire

As a return visitor to Chateau au Claire in Aspen we found the accomodation very comfortable. If we needed anything its was on our doorstep within 30 mins.

The short walk into town allows for guilt free eating & drinking!

We couldnt have wished for better snow conditions, our timing was great.

Great value and spacious

We stayed  at the Chateau RF a couple of years back for a week with family including 2 children aged 9 and 7 in winter. The apartment was a  huge 2BR with large kitchen, combined lounge and dining and 2 bathrooms both with bath and shower all on the ground floor. Timber construction, so quite noisy from residents above moving around late at night.

Location is a bit out of the way but the town shuttle bus stops right outside. Heating was superb and apartment was well equipped with 2 TVs video DVD etc , very warm and extremely spacious. Skis stored outside in a lockable cabinet.

Overall excellent value but a bit of a walk from the town centre say 7 minutes, longer with ski boots.

Much larger than other more expensive apartments. Would not recommned with small children as cannot walk to lifts but can catch bus outside.

Would stay there again.
