Viceroy, Snowmass

Nice Vice to have staying in the Viceroy Snowmass...

This Xmas we decided to splurge on a stay at the Viceroy Snowmass and boy did it not let us down. First the staff were amazing when I requested to have my xmas gifts shipped in after purchasing them on line, they did not blink an eyelid ÿes Mrs G, no problem we will store them till you arrive, and you need a few bookings for dinner and private ski lessons, no probs we will handle that for you as well as pick you up from airport. Really the service is beyond amazing not to mention the rooms, we stayed in a one bedroom with den... there was so much room, we had the xmas tree up five people massive xmas gifts and you could still swing your skis around and around. Next the ski concierge beyond amazing so very helpful,not only can you catch a lift from the back door of this hotel, ski the whole of Snowmass Mountain then ski to the hotel take skis and boots off and the wonderful staff deal with them by the time you were sipping cocktails in the bar, you can also purchase any forgotten things in the ski concierge store. Which brings me to the food OMG it is out of this world yum yum from EightK to the Nest you cannot go wrong the food is out of this world. All in all I highly recommend the Viceroy, it is an amazing place to stay!

Review of Aspen Snowmass and surrounds for families

Snowmass is an excellent ski area with something for everyone. "X factor" steeps for experts, great beginner areas (with variety) and more cruisers and trees than you could ever hope for. It is also close by to the much smaller mountains Aspen and Aspen Highlands which are far more suited to strong skiers and Buttermilk which is just for learners and crowd free powder days.

We stayed at Viceroy which was luxurious and in great location. Only disappointment was small rooms and pitiful gym.

Restaurants were first class however and valet ski facilities fantastic for families.

Kids have their boots personally fitted each morning...less headaches for Mum and Dad!

Snowmass is very quiet at night however "Adult dinners" at Aspen village were worth the half an hour shuttle in with some great restaurants and bars.
