Youtei Tracks Apartments & Penthouses, Niseko

Yotei Tracks a winner in my book

We stayed in a studio apartment and felt that we got tremendous value for money. We had a picture window overlooking Mt Yotei, the room was immaculate, the bed comfy, washing and drying facilites excellent. TV and appliances good but be warned - only a jug, toaster and microwave so meals have to be kept simple.

The ski and boot locker made entry and exit easy and the local Travelplan host was most helpful, arranging transport, hosting drinks and information sessions and booking us a free day with a mountain guide.

This is the second time we have travelled with Travelplan and would definitely use them again and recomend them to others.

We love Niseko, the soft snow & our friend Youtei Tracks

We have now holidayed in Niseko for the second time and hope to come back again and again. Our apartment in Youtei Tracks was really spacious, comfortable & great to relax in. The bed was also soft and easy to sleep of a hard day on the snow. 

The view of Mount Youtei was incredible and ever changing. The sounds of Tractors clearing the snow every morning at about 5.00am became our alarm bell, get up for another day of adventure & skiing.

We have countless photo snaps of the mountain with sun spots on parts of the peak but the snow clouds would not allow too much sun on this holiday. Ten days all up with eight days of skiing, what a great holiday.

At the end of each day we were rewarded by the return to our delightful apartment. The lift would say Mushu Mushu to us, doors closing we think & every time this would bring a smile to our faces.

On one of our days off we traveled to Otaru and to our surprise found endless shops, restaurants, pubs, great people and beautiful scenery all around especially along the canal.

Ski Niseko - powder, powder, powder!

We stayed in a Luxury 2 bedroom apartment and a deluxe 1 bed apartment (1 week each). Both were excellent. However I can''t believe the deluxe apartments toilet DIDN''T have the ubiquitous Japanese heated seat and bidet! Even the porta-loos on the slopes had heated seats! Having said that, terrain, snow quality, equipment hire, food and yes even descent espresso coffee were excellent. Some lifts could use updating but overall the experience was magic.
