Recommend The Vale for a family friendly Niseko ski holiday

New to Japan skiing, our whole Niseko ski experience was fabulous. The accommodation was as expected: clean, central, fully equiped, spacious. Staff were helpful where they could be.
The onsen at The Vale was superb, however the pool never really got hot enough. We were all icing up within minutes and had to make a nude and segregated dash for the onsen next door! The only gripe I'd have with The Vale is that there aren't any drawers or shelves for clothes in the rooms! For a 2 week stay, a family needs to be able to unpack suitcases.
The location of The Vale was great and easy for restaurants, the local supermarket and ski school. I'd recommend booking ahead to be sure to try some of the fabulous restaurants on offer: Ezo Seafoods, Kamimura, Yo to name only three. Seek out and visit "the Fridge" bar.
Snow conditions were amazing: best powder ever! On-snow food is incredible - the seafood everywhere is spectacular and a true Japanese experience, in the village too. Getting in and out of Niseko is a cynch with Skybus.
I would happily recommend keen skier families to Niseko and The Vale.
