Niseko trip March 2013

Our studio apartment at The Vale Niseko was very well equiped, drying cupboard, full laundry, great appliances, very comfortable but would have liked some drawers.
Hotel staff very helpful, supplied us with walking grips, absolutely essential for walking around Upper Hirafau, footpaths quite steep and very icy..also with Japan/Aus electricity plugs. Deposit on account redeemable when you leave.
The Vale Bar and Grill was a great meeting place and we ate there often. Great Value. Wines very reasonable in Niseko.
The snow conditions were variable but mostly very good, access to other areas sometimes tricky if the top lifts closed. Night sking was fabulous and well worth doing. We were too late for the real icing sugar powder but still had some very good days sking very light snow and we even had a few sun days and were able to see the wonderful countryside with Mt Yotei in the background.
Loved the resort and would certainly repeat our trip, probably a little earlier.
