This was the second visit to Niseko but the first with both my son and daughter who are both snow borders. The conditions were almost perfect with over 3 metres of fresh powder snow and mild temperatures.

This time to be able to relax after a hard days skiing I booked a three bedroom Horizon apartment. The location and amenties even down to three drying rooms and wireless internet were first class. 

Overall the experience was terrific and the itinerary generally worked out well.

The added bonus compared to the previous trip was that with the weaker yen skiing in Japan represents good value for money.

NISEKO IS THE BEST

Our second visit to Niseko, last tme was in a Lodge, but for the same price we stayed in Horizon Apartments this time which are fully self contained.

The apartment is brand new with EVERYTHING supplied, even washing powder. The cleaning service is great clean towels every 2 days. Location is excellent a short walk to all the nightlife, restaurants and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the accomodation.

The excellent bus service supplied by Niseko which takes you to the Gondola was a short walk from Horizon and comes every 10-15 minutes.

Travelplan picked us up and dropped us off from the bus coming from Sapporo.
