Niseko Hilton

Written by Chris & Mark a Skier from Geraldine, New Zealand
7/3/2011

Our stay in Niseko was great. The ski facilities /snow/ excellent. The Hilton was lovely - great service at ski/boot storage area - it was amazing to have the ski in/ski out situation.

The room had two singles, and we would have preferred a double bed, but it was OK. Breakfasts - great with beautiful views from the yotei restaurant.

We would love to bring our teenagers to Niseko next time. The buses to and from the Hotel were handy. The night time return buses were a bit sparse and having to climb up to the Welcome Centre to get it was a minus.

Overall though a wonderful time.

Hilton Niseko

Written by Stephen a Skier from Adelaide, Australia
6/3/2011

some said the snow was not as good as usual but for us it was fantastic; Japan is great , the scenery is stunning; there is no jet lag; it is not so far away. the weather/visibility was variable- not much sun. we ate at hotel as part of conference- hirafu looked good. There is a cross country course adjacent the hotel - we could get classic but not skating skis.

Hilton Niseko Village

Written by Peter a Skier from South Coogee, NSW. Australia

This is definitely the place to stay for the very keen skier who is a little more cashed up. The standard rooms are 5 star (quite large by Japanese standards).

Great restaurants and a wonderful inside/outside Onsen.

Almost like having your own personal gondola at the front door. Access to the top of the mountain with the connecting ''Wonderland''chair can give you at least a 15 min head start on those coming from Hirafu (weather permitting).

Review of Hilton Niseko

Written by Margaret a Skier from Sydney, Australia
5/2/2010

Lovely renovation - last stayed there in 2008 when it was the Prince Hotel.

Great position and particularly liked the gondola coming straight out of the hotel.  However, one of the big problems is that when there is the slightest bit of wind the gondola closes for the day. Getting out to ski then becomes difficult as the buses to Hirafu and Anapuri are not very frequent.

Also the buses are not very frequent at night and close rather early (midnight from memory) so you have to resort to a taxi if you are out past that time.

Hilton hit the spot

Written by Brendan a Skier from Sydney, Australia
2/12/2009

I''ve stayed at the Hilton 3 times for about a week at a time.

Steer clear of taking the breakfast inclusive offer it gets a bit repeatitive after a couple of days.

But the hotel has an awesome onsen (hot springs) and a fantastic bar.

The gondola is at the door. What more could you want.
