Meribel-Mottaret outstanding if location is your thing

The little village of Meribel-Mottaret sits right in the middle of Les Trois Vallees.

From there you can head in any direction depending on snow and weather conditions, and always be within reach of the extreme ends of this enormous, fabulous ski region. Make sure you go for the Three Valleys Diploma by skiing each of the 15 more remote ski runs marked on the ski map. Then you know you''ve really skiied the Three Valleys...

The Alpen Ruitor is a friendly hotel situated right at the hub of Mottaret. Comfortable lounge, welcome events for guests and hearty, tasty local food and French wine list.

Not many Aussies around, but plenty of French, English and Russians!
