The hotel is located in the village's pedestrian precinct so in winter you only need to walk about a hundred yards, with the your skis on your shoulder, to reach the Chamois gondola lift that serves the main ski areas around the resort.
The hotel itself looks out over the church and its priory, a mountain stream Nant des Cordes that runs past the building, and the village's main shopping street.
