Best location for a skiing holiday

The Pan Pacific Mountainside is the closest accommodation to the lifts at Whistler overlooking the gondolas and chairlift in the village plaza.

The skiing at Whistler Blackcomb rates with anywhere else in the world but the village atmosphere makes it superior to anywhere else. People are at Whistler because they all want to be. There are no negatives and facilities and services in the village are very good.

Off mountain activities are available including dog sledding and bobsleigh.

Summit Spa Lodge a hit!

From the complimentary hot chocolate with Baileys to the Belgium Sheppard named Nana in the foyer, the Summit Lodge and Spa had me smiling from the start! Excited about our first week in the Canadian snow for our honeymoon, and with high expectations, we weren't disappointed. We were chauffeured by lovely mercedes van transfer from Vancouver for the 2 hour trip to Whistler, and strolled into the foyer, welcomed by friendly staff, a cosy fire and a bit of jazz in the background. A dog shaped blackboard welcomed the pooches in residence, which of course made me miss my fur kid even more, but it was the best place for this homebody to experience a bit of luxury and class away from home. Getting in the lift with our luggage and another well trained resident enters with tongue hanging out and tail wagging, we a whisked upto the fourth floor and are impressed with the modern finishes, cute kitchenette, little fake fire and gorgeous view. We settled in cosily, and then decided to head downstairs to rent some boards. It was a great place to base ourselves, with friendly service and enough thoughtful attention to detail for this picky traveller.

Great Time In Whistler

My wife and I and 2 other friends stayed at Coast Blackcomb Suites during Feb 2013, and although there was no bar or restaurant what a great location and value for money this place is to stay.

I would return with no hesitation at all.

The skiing at Whistler Blackcomb is exiting and has great variety for all levels, and at the end of the day the Village is the place to be.

I was very impressed with Whistler ski resort. I found the signage on the hill very clear.

The village was great. It was a bit confusing to find my way around as all the building look the same but I did enjoy the shopping.

Their was no shortage of places to eat.

I found the customer service above and beyond.

Fantastic Terrain !! long lines !!

Whistler : fantastic terrain. Excellent service !!!When there is powder the lift lines are very long!! 20-30 minutes - not good value for money when a day ticket is so expensive!!

Whistler 2013

Our whole trip was fabulous. Travelplan ensured that everything was seamless.

The Westin could not be better situated for a skiing Holiday with children. The Ski Rental in the lobby and Ski Valet at the botom of the mountain are brilliant.

The Kids Ski School is 20m from the lobby which makes getting the kids into Ski School easy.

It helps having great snow and a great mountain to ski on but having really nice rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, great pool and spa areas and great staff at the Westin ensured the whole family had a great Holiday.

I couldn't recommend it highly enough....we have already booked to go back next year and will not be changing a thing!
 

Whistler Blackcomb Ski Holiday March 2013

For total skiable area this has to be the best resort in the world i have been to. It is absolutely huge and caters for all levels of boarding. I dont think you could see all of the mountains in a full season. The only thing i could fault the place on was after a good snowfall close to the weekend all the locals head up there & the place is packed. 40+ minute waits in lift lines. These times were much better during the weekdays 5-10 tops.

Pan Pacific for ski in ski out was spot on. We litterly walked straight out of our hotel onto the blackcomb gondola with the whistler gondola another minute further away. Very handy after a punishing day on the mountain then it was straight into a hot tub to rejuvenate then out on the town with too many options for food and bars.

Would definately head back but would do more than 5 days next time (this was our second trip).

We had a fanatastic time at Whistler with our two boys 7 and 4.

Pan pacific recommendation from Nigel at Travelplan was perfect for the family. Great accom, kids loved the afternoon snacks whilst swimming in the Pool.. Great location and breakfast included made it so easy with kids...

All transfers, ski hire and Lift Tickets by Travelplan was seamless and very well organised..

Will Book again with Travelplan and Whistler what more can you say... WOW!!! Peak to Peak Gondola also makes the Skiing even better.... Ross 2013

Ski Holiday Whistler

Our 4th trip to Whistler which speaks for itself. Had a great time, Pan Pacific Mountainside in an excellant location.

Whistler Restaurants food and service where excellant will be returning next year. Australia Day is a fun time at Whistler. Weather and snow conditions fantastic definately reccomend as a skiing destination.
 

Blackcomb - Glacier Lodge

Ann Rossetti did a great in giving me a range of accommodation options, and eased my fears once I started to read bad reviews on Glacier Lodge a couple of days before I was due to fly out.

Glacier lodge is basic accommdation but was clean and the staff helpfull.

If you are going to take lesson do a full days lessons as the half days is only a little bit cheaper like and not worth it.
