See you next time!

Written by Dianne a Snowboarder from Melbourne, Australia

After an amazing 12 days on the mountain, I left with by far the best riding experience I have ever had. The terrain was unbelievable and the views from all around the mountain were spectacular.

The village and atmosphere was great, and everyone was friendly.

Aspens on Blackcomb was awesome, right on the base of Blackcomb mountain, and only a 10-15 minute walk to Whistler village, the location was pretty much perfect. The rooms were nice and had good facilities, and after a day of snowboarding it was great to relax in the heated pool outside (right on the edge of one of the runs!).

The ski and snowboard valet service provided made getting out there so much easier too, not to mention being able to just ski-in and ski-out!

I would definitely recommend this resort, and will definitely be back soon!

Whistler Ski Trip Jan 6 to Jan 20

Written by Eric a Skier from Port Willunga, Australia
5/2/2010

All airfares, accomodation, lift tickets, signage at the airport provided by Anne Martin from Travelplan were exceptional and I will be booking 2010 trip overseas with her again.

The trip itself went very well apart from persistent rain each day which meant conditions were not the best experinced ( this is out of everyone''s control though).  This was my 8th trip to Whistler and the resort has become so big and crowded I probably will look at Aspen in 2010 ( I spent the last 2 years there and it was awesome). This was my first trip I took my teenage son who had a great time.

All in all very happy with Travelplan and I would recommend Whistler to people wanting great nightlife and a ski holiday. To the dedicated serious skier I think Colarado resorts or the inland Canadian resorts Fernie, Big White and  Kicking Horse have more to offer and better snow.

Whistler- our first time !

Written by James a Skier from Sydney, Australia
5/2/2010

My first experience with Canadian skiing left me wanting to turn around and fly the 14 hrs back to LA only days after landing back in Sydney.

My wife and I had a full week in Whistler and still by the end of it we hadn''t even started to scratch half the resataurants and pubs. Initially we were overwhelmed by the numbers of yound people, but the closer we looked, the more we saw people and couples of all ages enjoying the vibrant village of Whistler.

And the skiing.... enough to leave our legs burning and our faces saw from smiling so much!!

We will definitely be back again for sure.

My girlfriend and I had a blast in Whistler. Travelplan were fantastic. From the moment we left Australia, right until we arrived home, we felt like VIP''s. They have people to meet and greet you and transit you from airport to accomodation. We were greeted with smiles and helpful people everywhere. Will definately use Travelplan for the next ski holiday....Thanks

Whistler Holiday 2010

Written by Chris a Skier from Sydney, Australia
3/2/2010

Kathy and I just arrived home from Canada this morning and the 'team' asked me to send you a note of thanks.

All six of us had a great holiday in Whistler and we wanted you to know that we really appreciated all your help and suggestions that made the holiday that extra bit special.  Toni and Chris especially wanted me to mention their thanks for the side trip you arranged for Toni to Kentucky, and Kathy and I appreciated your fixing, at short notice, Jessica's trip to Niseko. By the way Jess is having a ball working for NISS. Again, thanks from all of us.

Best Regards,

Chris

So many things to do!

Written by Christine a Skier from Sydney, Australia
29/12/2009

Had a fantastic time in Whistler! Thanks to the Ski School, because I learnt how to get over my fear of falling onto the ground, and learning how to ski.

The best place to stay is at the Hilton (familiar name), great facilities and services, with value for money especially since it was adjacent to the ski lifts and the village!

One of my fondest memories, was relaxing in the heated outdoor swimming pool at the end of a day of skiing, and looking up into the snow-capped mountains and thinking what an awesome view!

Best Location in town

Written by Roslyn a Snowboarder from Sydney, Australia

Crystal lodge wasn''t a first choice of hotel for me and my partner, however I was overjoyed on arrival. Great friendly staff, the location was unbelievable, right in the heart of all the action, yet quiet when I wanted to sleep. Restaurants are in the hotel and right at the dorrstep and the apres skiing is the best i have ever experienced. I would go back to this hotel in a second and once the olympics are gone, I will!

Why Whistlers the pick of the bunch

Written by Glenn Robinson a Snowboarder from Norfolk Island, South Pacific
22/10/2009

I love to visit Canada, I''ve lived there twice both times in Victoria BC. We discovered Whistler in about 2000 and have gravitated back there 5 times in the past 9 years. Last year we decided that we owe it to ourselves to check out some different mountains, so a buddy and I took a road trip and took in 7 of the best known BC resorts over a two week holiday. We finished off one of the best trips ever in Whistler (of course), comfortable in the knowledge that when it comes to the complete package nothing compares to Whistler Blackcomb. Its partly the vibe, the size of the village, the quality of the retail, food and beverage, its alot to do with the people and customer service but mostly its the mountains, the variety of terrain, and the sheer size of both mountains combined. We love it!

Whistler - What a Place!

Written by Kaye a Skier from Brisbane
16/10/2009

Went to Whistler not knowing what to expect.  Sometimes with ski resorts they are more about people who want to be seen rather than go their to ski or snowboard.  Whistler was different - the village is cute and soo picturesque... with little village atmosphere and shopping, bars and restaurants.  The Hilton was fantastic, had great room, with fire and kitchen facilities. Absolute first class - 3rd floor room, large, king bed.  Had whirlpool outside and heated pool.  Even had swim in heated pool while it was snowing outside... Lots of Aussies there.. even found Wirra Wirra at bottleshop, and was served with new ski boots by Aussie in ski shop.  Going back, infact would love to get real estate their... total convert
