I love Marmot Basin!!

This is the ski hill where I finally started getting the hang of skiing. There's a perfect balance of easier runs that challenge beginners without being too terrifying and difficult runs to keep experienced boarders/skiiers from getting bored. 

The facilities are great, the staff were fantastic and all round had an awesome experience here - will definately be back one day.

Over the past few years Marmot Basin Jasper has spent over $25 million in capital improvements and large scale operational improvements.

These improvements include 2 NEW lifts, ready for the 2011/2012 season. The new 'Paradise High Speed Quad' services the upper area of the mountain, stretching 4,757 ft, this new chairlift has a ride time of just 4.6 minutes and a vertical rise of 1,345ft. The 'School House Triple Chair' has replaced the School House T-Bar in the lower area which will prove to be an excellent improvement for those learning to ski. These two lifts compliment the recent installation of the longest high speed quad in the Canadian Rockies (2009/10).
