The hidden secret........shhhhhhhhhh

Written by Anna a Skier from Melbourne, Australia
You want to ski hard and go somewhere that is a well kept secret……ski APEX. Apex generally caters for the intermediate to advanced skier. You will never find a lift line here and with the expansion of runs out the is seriously steep and great terrain.  Blues here are more like an Aussie Black...the Blacks are extreme and the doubles are fun !!!! Hidden glades are Apex's best kept secret, ski with a local and find them all.

There are only a couple of places to eat.  A large kiosk is open during the day and the pub offers great cheap lunches also. Dinner time, there is basically two places to eat,  I would suggest a kitchenette if you were staying more than 4 or so nights.  There is a small grocery/grog shop that orders food in for you if you request anything special.

I would definitely recommend this resort, people are friendly, prices are cheap, ski terrain huge and generally not a tourist in site. The terrain is great for the intermediate or advanced skier……I suggest you don’t leave BC without skiing this great locals resort.

Wonderful set up for families also as there is heaps of terrain (including gentle glades) off the triple chair for the small ones.
