Second Honeymoon

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Whister and decided to visit again for our 20th wedding anniversary.

We we not dissappointed!

Crystal Lodge is so close to the lifts it is almost ski in/ski out! Village atmosphere was wonderful.

Best dining experiences were Ric''s on valentine''s day and Araxi-supberb!

Travelplan organised everything and it all ran smoothly from transfers to lift tickets waiting at accommodation-thank you Anne form Travelplan!

Whistler is Awesome

Whistler is great, the Crystal Lodge is lovely and in a good location.

It has changed a lot (I guess for the olympics). .

February was a good time to visit but make sure you aren't there on President's Week.

Crystal Lodge great location

The loft studio rooms were perfect for mum and daughter. 

We had a bathroom each and the small kitchen was great. 

Right in the centre of town and only about 50 metres from the gondolas. Staff were wonderful.

Great terrain for beginner and intermediate skiers.

Whistler Delivers

Whistler always delivers, the terrain options are great - steeps, trees, groomers, moguls, some powder days and a hike to Flute Summit is recommended.  First time at Crystal Lodge and it was very good - great location, good room (single loft apartment)and friendly staff.  Really convenient to both Whistler and Blackcomb gondala''s.  Plenty of eating options, with everything from reasonable priced home style food at Gone Bakery (behind book shop in the village) to up-market restaurants.  Recommend Powder Mountain cat skiing (hire some powder skis for the day) and try the free demo skis available at the top of both Whistler and Blackcomb. 

Best Location in town

Crystal lodge wasn''t a first choice of hotel for me and my partner, however I was overjoyed on arrival. Great friendly staff, the location was unbelievable, right in the heart of all the action, yet quiet when I wanted to sleep. Restaurants are in the hotel and right at the dorrstep and the apres skiing is the best i have ever experienced. I would go back to this hotel in a second and once the olympics are gone, I will!
