Fabulous mountain (enjoyed most out of the 3 we visited this trip) Not a bad thing to say about the on mountain facilities (lifts, access, runs, tree skiing, staff, on mountain food)

Accommodation was a little noisy being on the traffic turnaround area (reverse beeping). Apartment well equipped although a little compact for 5 people, fold out bed comfortable.

Excellent gym. True ski in ski out.

Great independent bars and restaurants lots of choice Loved Silverstar.  

Fantastic family ski destination

For a family that is happy to ski or board every day silverstar is excellent The small village sits snowbound mid mountain and looks like a town street in a western movie ... wiith added snow.

The restaurants serve mainly average family fare at reasonable resort prices. The grocery store provides a limited selection of the basics including alcohol. The terrain is varied enough to get the family happy and the scenery is beautiful.

Snowbird lodge is the pick of the accommodation for the size and standards of the rooms and the perfect on snow position in the village

PARADISE AT SILVER STAR

We stayed at The Snowbird Lodge, Silver Star BC Canada in late January, 2010.  You simply could not find a better place to stay.  Deluxe accommodation with the best access to the slopes.  The slopes and village are magnificent. Truly a winter wonderland.  We will certainly be back!
