Lake Lousie Chateau

Is one of my favourite places in the world.
The old part of the chateau overlooking the lake in winter is breathtaking. I have wandered around in the early hours of the morning. I could feel the spirit of the Chateau in the hey day of the early 1900's, in the grand ballroom.
It is close to the ski slopes with the best powder snow and a variety of runs, which I have frequent over the years, just up the road.
The cross country skiing on the lake is what I loved to do best. The paths into the woods, the ice climbing or just sleding close to the hotel.
If I was very rich I would buy the penthouse and spend the rest of my life there.......with visiting friends of course.:)
