Great Family Holiday at Big White

Big White is a great family resort! Beautifull snow, great variety of runs for all levels and excellent ski in ski out. The ski school is well organized and great value especially if booked well in advance.  If going for 10 days or more consider getting a season paas as it gives discounts on many shopds in the resort. Consider doing a shop in Kelowna on the way up, we booked a privete shuttle that allowed this.  Grizzly lodge was great value. Not quite ski out as theres a slight uphill walk for 50 meteres but very easy.  If you dont go for a room with a spa there is a great spa and sauna for communal use.  We would certainly return to Big White.    

Memorable Stay at Grizzly Lodge

We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio with kitchen and were extremely happy with our choice. It had everything we needed and a great common room at the end of the hall with pool table and TV.

I wouldn''t really class it ski in/ski out as we had to drag our skis about 70m over to the slopes and pull ourselves back along the flat to get home. With small kids this was a little painful. It was great for a small walk up to the main centre.

Every night, they had activities on for the kids and the ski school was FANTASTIC.

This was our second visit to Big White and we do recommend Grizzly Lodge.

Big White is a great family ski resort

We have had two great family ski holidays at Big White. Both times we have stayed in Grizzly Lodge which is well located to the village centre and ski lifts. The units are spacious, well appointed and offer great views of the Monashee mountains. There is a wide range of activities for the whole family and the kids particularly loved the tube park, ice skating and snow mobile rides. Snow conditions and terrain are fantastic despite the poor visibility which occurs frequently. In all Big White is a great family ski destination.
