Whilst some may say Thredbo isn't our absolute gem, one thing we know is its definitely my favourite and one thing we will all agree on is as Australians we all love our sport, and when June rolls around we know its time to dig out the ski's and boards and get into some awesome snow fun.
Commonly known to most Australian's as 'skifields' most would be surprised to find that the ski resorts in Oz offer much more than what the term skifields might assert.
All of Australia's ski resorts are located within the Great Dividing Range, the 4th longest mountain range in the world. The mountain range stretches the entire length of the eastern coastline from Queensland to Victoria with peaks reaching 2,228m above sea level (Mt Kosciuszko).
