Cerro Bayo is located approximately nine kilometres from Villa la Angostura and is one of the resorts of the Lakes district. There is plenty of skiable terrain for all abilities. Every year the ski area of Cerro Bayo improves, upgrading or installing new lift systems, and most recently, the addition of a snowboard park.

Access is easy via a short shuttle ride up from the picturesque little lakeside base town, Villa La Angostura where you will be welcomed by;

Now it is getting a $60 million dollar upgrade and expansion, with new lifts to new terrain, more snowmaking and on-mountain accommodation inthe pipeline over the next few years, with some facilities scheduled to be ready for the 2009 ski season.
