The CMH Steep Skiing weeks are designed for skiers and snowboarders looking for a challenge on seriously steep terrain. CMH have planned these trips for late April, when snow conditions are the most stable and the days are longer, allowing groups the opportunities and flexibility to ski more challenging terrain.
You must be a strong, confident skier or rider – comfortable on double black diamond runs at resorts like Whistler and Jackson Hole, and able to cope with tighter terrain (i.e. couloirs). Seeking the most challenging terrain available on any given day, your guide will offer expert coaching, as well as finding the lines that allow you to develop your skills without compromising your safety.
Hosted by Dave Gauley, the Assistant Manager of Cariboo Lodge and a world-renowned master of the steeps (voted by Powder Magazine as one of the 50 Best Skiers in the World!), these trips are limited to 9 skiers/riders (split into 2 groups), with 3 guides and a Bell 407 helicopter.
Please note: If you over rate your ability and/or fitness level CMH reserve the right to move you to a more appropriate group
