The Powder Max program can be summed up in four words, “small”, “fast”, “maneuverable” and “flexible”. The program is designed for three or four groups of five skiers and a guide, supported by a Bell 407 six-passenger helicopter. The use of this light helicopter combined with small groups, will provide for quick lifts, lots of flexibility for skiing and the ability to find interesting and challenging lines that may not work as well for larger groups.
These trips include:
• From 8,850 to 43,570 guaranteed vertical metres
• All meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages
• All lodge accommodations and use of lodge facilities
such as saunas, whirlpools, etc
• Ground transportation to the lodge from Calgary or
Banff, AB or Spokane, WA and return
• Services of ACMG (Association of Canadian Mountain
Guides), and/or IFMGA (International Federation of
Mountain Guides Association) guides,and guides
recognized by HeliCat Canada
• Use of specially designed Heli-Skis and poles.
Snowboarders must bring their own equipment
• Training in and use of avalanche transceivers
