Every aspect of this lodge is dramatic, from the outdoor pool lined with quartzite tiles to the zinc-topped bar framed by sandstone columns.
Forty suites boast platform beds, fireplaces, day beds framed in redwood and woven cowhide chairs upholstered in faux wolf fabrics. As for the public areas, you can linger in a rawhide and rattan chair in the library and learn about the flora, fauna and culture of the region. Or peruse the works on display in the Gallery.
